At the end of January, we gathered in the beautiful surrounds of The Manor House on Bompas Road, Dunkeld, for a truly special sneaker design workshop—and what a morning it was.
Set within this relaxed space, our guests were invited behind the scenes of our sneaker-making world. From selecting fabrics and trims to understanding how colour, texture and detail come together, the workshop was all about creativity, curiosity and hands-on design. Each participant had the opportunity to experiment with the fabrics and leathers, ask questions and begin shaping a sneaker that felt entirely their own.
One of the highlights was sharing our approach to craftsmanship and sustainability—how we work with quality materials, repurpose beautiful fabrics and thoughtfully design each pair to be both functional and expressive. The room buzzed with ideas, laughter and inspiration as designs started to take shape.
We also appreciated the open and constructive feedback shared after the session. Hearing participants’ thoughts around expectations and experience was incredibly valuable, and it’s something we will certainly take on board as we refine and expand future workshops. Listening, learning and evolving is an important part of our process.
It was a joy to connect, create and collaborate in such a relaxed and intimate setting. Workshops like these remind us why we love what we do: bringing people together through design, storytelling and the simple pleasure of making something unique.
We left inspired—and excited to build on this for our next workshop.
